The XCROSS project was present at Innotrans 2026 in Berlin, the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology, which took place from September 24-27. The project’s presence was organized through two separate exhibition stands, supported by Eurnex.
XCROSS was showcased at both the Technische Universität Dresden stand and the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking stand. This dual presence allowed the project to present its work to railway industry professionals and interested stakeholders.
At both locations, an explanatory video was displayed to visitors, presenting the technical solutions and tools being developed within the project. The video provided an overview of XCROSS’s approach to railway crossing asset management and maintenance, including 3D laser scanning technology and augmented reality tools.
The exhibition provided a valuable platform to engage with the railway sector and demonstrate the project’s progress to a wide audience of industry professionals. The Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking, which funds this research initiative, played a key role in supporting the project’s presence at the event.
